Padgett’s Motorcycles established in 1958 is a third generation family business and we are looking to grow our team.

We are looking for an Aftersales Advisor with strong customer service skills and knowledge of motorcycles parts would be advantageous; or some level of automotive knowledge.

More importantly we are looking for someone with excellent customer skills, great organisational skills and the ability to use a computerised booking system at pace.

Duties of this role include but are not exclusive

  • Assist customers with enquiries, on the phone, via email and face-to-face.
  • Using our modern computer system to create quotations, workshop bookings and workshop invoices and to manage customer messaging and communications.
  • Presentable, proactive, well organised and reliable, with excellent phone and customer-facing skills.
  • Preparing daily job cards and boxes for onsite workshop technicians with parts, accessories, and merchandise.
  • Reporting daily KPI’s to manufacturers.
  • Experience preparing invoices and processing payments.
  • Upsell of genuine parts, accessories and service plans.
  • Willingness to learn and take information on board.
  • Flexible approach to work
  • Carry out any other tasks that will, from time to time, be allocated by the Aftersales Manager.

Person Specification:

  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Computer literate with knowledge of Outlook, Excel, and Word.
  • Dealer management experience preferred, but not essential.
  • Experience of using a computerised booking system.
  • Be able to communicate clearly with both the workshop and customers.
  • A positive can-do attitude with a willingness to learn.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Good interpersonal skills, be able to work as part of a team and build and maintain positive relationships with internal and external clients.
  • Strong organisational skills.
  • Reliable and dependable.
  • Self-motivated.
  • Flexible and willing to take on a variety of tasks.
  • Knowledge of automotive/motorcycles systems, components and parts would be advantaged

Working Hours

Monday to Friday 8:30 until 5:30pm (with 30 minutes for lunch)

Saturdays working 1 in 2 Saturdays 8:30am until 4:30pm
